Japan’s football league is relatively young, and so are the stadiums. There are the massive modern arenas, mostly leftovers from the 2002 World Cup, and the more modest but tidy stadiums typically composed of four bleachers. While attendances are not at the level of Europe’s top leagues, Japan’s stadiums do fill up nicely and attending a match is definitely worth giving a go.
