Key facts

Club: Bohemians Praha 1905 | Opening: 1932 | Capacity: 6,300 seats

History and description

Ďolíček, earlier called Dannerův stadion, got built in the 1930s when Bohemians’ previous ground had become too small for the club.

The stadium officially opened on 27 March 1932 with an exhibition match between Bohemians and Slavia (1-3).

A new main stand got built in the 1970s, but apart from that the stadium changed little until the 2000s. The stadium underwent renovations in 2003 and 2007, which reduced capacity from over 13,000 to 9,000 and then its current total.

How to get to Dolicek

Dolicek is located in a central location just south-east of Prague’s city centre.

It is located a short walk away from the trendy Vinohrady district and about a half an hour walk from the main railway station (Hlavni) and the southern edge of Nove Mesto and Wenceslas Square. The historic old town lies further away.

Dolicek lies a short walk away from Praha Vrsovice railway station, which is on the train line that runs to the south of Czechia (Ceske Budejovice) from the main railway station.

The nearest metro station is Namesti Miru, a 20-minute walk away. It is easier to reach the stadium by tram though. Catch tram 6 or 24 from Jindrisska or Vodickova street just south of the old town and get off at stop Bohemians. From Prague Castle and Mala Strana catch tram 22 and get off at stop Vrsovicke Namesti. Tram 4 and 7 connect with the western parts of Prague. The journey takes 15 to 30 minutes depending on where you board.

Address: Vršovická 1489/31, Praha 10 – Vršovice 101 00
