Q: Can I send you information about stadium x, and will you add it to the site?
A: We have a tendency to award passionate fans that would like to see their home stadium on The Stadium Guide, and consequently move this stadium to the front of the queue. That is, if the stadium is at least the home of a club playing in one of the two top leagues of its country (top three in England). No guarantees though, however what will surely make us upload the stadium, is if you send us authentic self-made photos.
Q: Can I use picture x for my website, schoolwork, etc.?
A: All our pictures (© stadiumguide.com) are available under a Creative Commons 3.0 license (CC BY 3.0). This means that you are free to use any of them as long as you credit us, and share them alike. You don’t need to ask permission to do so, though feel free to ask us for a higher resolution copy, which we will provide if available.
Other pictures on our website are either credited, and need to be treated accordingly, or, if no copyrights are mentioned, are in the public domain and free to use. We cannot provide any further permissions or different copies for pictures that aren’t credited to us with ©stadiumguide.com. But feel free to follow the link and contact the original author.
Q: Do you have any information on how to get tickets for concert x?
A: No, we don’t offer any information about how to acquire concert tickets.
Q: Can you provide me with any contact details for x?
A: We have published all contact details that we think are relevant, or that we could find. Often clubs or stadiums provide additional contact details, for example a contact form on their website, so it’s best to check out these websites too.
Q: I would like to book a stadium tour for a group. Can you do this, or provide me with further details?
A: We are not affiliated to any club, stadium, or travel agency, hence don’t take bookings. We do recommend to always contact the club or stadium for group bookings, even if our site says that walk-ups are possible. As it is, many stadiums do require groups to make bookings, especially if over 10 people. Check our website for further contact details, or, if not available, go to the club or stadium website.
Q: Why are you so biased and why do you hate my team?
We don’t, that’s just your imagination. Sure, we have our favourite teams, but these are surely not the ones you are thinking of. And even so, we don’t let this get in the way of our objective reporting. For example, we don’t write official reviews about our favourite teams. Of course, everything published under someone’s particular name is allowed to have some bias, it’s a blog after all, but everything published by The Stadium Guide will be as objective as possible.
However, if you feel like we made a mistake, feel free to point this out. We will be happy to consider any modifications. However, please spare us the indignation and outrage.
Q: Are you aware that the plural of stadium is actually stadia?
