Poor accoustics behind the goals, too steep central stands, track around the pitch which kills any kind of intimate feel. Only worthwhile if for a top notch game, otherwise travellers should give preference to Maracanã and São Januario.

The works to fix it will go until the end of 2014. In the begining of 2016 the stadium will be clossed again for the works to host the olympics.
