Den Dreef isn't the most beautiful of stadiums, but I would definitely recommend a visit to anyone who finds himself/herself in the Leuven area.

There tends to be a good atmosphere generated in the ground, despite the low capacity of the stadium and the generally mediocre football on show. The home fans are really quite impressive and the club has a nice family feel to it.

The stadium is rarely sold-out, though it is regularly pretty full, so it is usually fine to get tickets on the night of the game. It is €15 for a ticket for the standing area. Those who work at the club are very friendly in my experience and are able to help those who don't speak much/any Dutch.

Another major plus point, at least for a fan from the UK such as myself, is that you can buy beer in the stadium. It is also only a 15 minute walk from the Grote Markt area of Leuven, which has a wide array of bars.
