Sarah Adams,

I have the book "Life and Death of the Hi Hi" by John Lister, and I found yor grandfather! He is listed in the 1928/29 season and "...on the other wing (outside right) Martin Lennon arrived from King's Park."
He played 19 matches and scored 1 goal, in a 2-4 loss vs Clyde at Cathkin Park, Nov 3 1928 in front of ca 10.000 fans. And that's all I could find! But do you know wether he played on for other clubs (evt who) and how old he was in 1928?

Still the only Scottish ground I've visited twice, once as a burned out wreck in 1973 when I took shelter from a snowstorm in the remains of the grandstand, and again in the mid-80s after it had been tidied up. Still a site which should make any fan think. Not for the ground, but for the fans who lost their club through the bad faith of the owner. Fifty years on and they still hope to come back !
