The atmosphere in the stadium is fantastic and the local fans are happy to welcome visitors. However only a small section of the more expensive (and less atmospheric) seats are covered. Therefore bring an anorak or sunblock depending on the season. Also aliow sufficient time to enter the stadium. You’ll be patted down thoroughly twice by the Colombian police on the way in.
